BJP leader and Bhagalpur MP Shahnawaz Hussain on Friday rejected the ideo of legalizing sports betting in India. Reacting to the IPL scandal, Hussain said that the tainted people involved in the betting row should not go unpunished. When asked about the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) recommendations for legalization and regulation of sports betting in India, Hussain vehemently opposed the idea.
